Reading the DoD’s hiring performance on this site; its states that the hiring process has been knocked down to 80 days (as of QY4 2011). I’ve reached the 130 day mark as to when I first received the “Your resume has been referred to the selecting official for consideration for this vacancy” on two different positions within the DOD at two different locations. I believe I have other submittals older than this that are still at the “Resume Received” stage. Have the agencies been directed to post open positions but take no action or have the agencies already selected the person for the job and the job posting is just going through the motions. Thank You.
