Help and Relief Efforts

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) encourages Federal employees who are interested in contributing monetarily toward the relief efforts to visit the Federal Emergency Management Agency's website at http://www.fema.gov/rebuild/recover/howtohelp.shtm to find references to voluntary organizations which are providing relief services.  Many of these organizations also participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and donors may want to consider giving via payroll deduction through the CFC to these organizations as a means for long-term support to assist these organizations in replenishing their reserves.  Donors can look up the organizations in their National and Local CFC Charity Lists to determine which organizations are participating in the CFC where the employee's official duty station is located.

In addition, please remember there are many other worthy charitable organizations participating in the CFC which are not involved with this disaster.  These organizations still need your generous support to continue providing services throughout the coming year.

Thank you for your interest in helping those affected by the Southern California wildfires.
