What is an occupational questionnaire?

An occupational questionnaire is an assessment method used to screen and rate job applicants.  Occupational questionnaires are often delivered through automated staffing systems used in Federal hiring, and they consist of self-ratings of an applicant’s training and experience.

For more information regarding occupational questionnaires, please visit the Occupational Questionnaire page of the OPM's Assessment and Selection website: http://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/assessment-and-selection/occupational-questionnaires/
