21st Century Skills for 21st Century Jobs

The President believes it takes skilled and knowledgeable people to provide good customer service. He said -- in Executive Order 13111-- one way to have a responsive Federal workforce is by using advances in technology to make more training opportunities accessible to more workers. And, he says we can do it if all levels of government and private companies work together. So, the Executive Order created an interagency Task Force to find the best ways to accelerate the integration of learning technology into the Federal training process. The task force is chaired by U.S. Office of Personnel Management Director Janice R. Lachance.
