Pre-Supervisory Leadership

    OPM present’s “Difficult Conversations for Supervisors.” This online and interactive course is intended to support the requirements in 5 CFR 412.202 allowing new and current supervisors to explore different ways to conduct that “difficult conversation” with their employee(s). Supervisors will learn various techniques and tools to facilitate the effectiveness of discussions with subordinates of s sensitive nature and practice in a safe and risk free environment.  

    
This course is available to agencies for free. Agencies may upload the course to their Learning Management Systems from our Shared Courses Wiki page located under OPM Training and Development. Agencies may also request a CD. To request a CD, contact Karen Simpson at Karen.simpson@opm.gov

    OPM's training and development team has recently finalized the development of a fantastic new interactive online course designed to allow participants the ability to practice an actual conversation with an employee virtually.  It is cutting edge technology that would benefit any supervisor manager in building or developing the necessary OPM present’s “Difficult Conversations for Supervisors.” This online and interactive course is intended to support the requirements in 5 CFR 412.202 allowing new and current supervisors to explore different ways to conduct that “difficult conversation” with their employee(s).
