Jackie Koszczuk is OPM's Director of Communications. In that role, she directs the agency's internal and external communications across multiple platforms.
Ms. Koszczuk came to OPM after a long career in journalism, starting out as a cub reporter for newspapers and eventually working in various senior editing roles. She is the former editor of the Almanac of American Politics and was deputy political editor for National Journal in 2012.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Koszczuk was a Washington correspondent for Knight Ridder, where she covered Congress for the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Detroit Free Press, the Miami Herald, and several other major newspapers. She won multiple awards for her reporting, including the Everett McKinley Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting on Congress.
Ms. Koszczuk lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband and their two children.
