Federal Employees Health Benefits Program

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) are pleased to announce our annual Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program Carrier Conference. OPM's Acting Director, Dan G. Blair, will be the conference keynote speaker. In addition, other featured speakers include Roy Ramthun, Senior Advisor to Treasury Secretary John W. Snow for Health Affairs on National Health Initiatives and Dr. David J. Brailer, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. We will also address Patient Safety and Consumer Education, as well as other program-wide issues that will affect all plans and issues of special interest to fee-for-service and HMO plans.

We want to thank you for your suggestions on topics of interest for this year's conference. We have made every effort to address your recommendations in the general sessions or special interest sessions.

Dates and Location

The conference will be held on April 4th and 5th at the following hotel:

The hotel is located near historic Georgetown in northwest Washington, DC. It is within 15-30 minutes driving time from Reagan National Airport, about 45 minutes from Dulles International Airport, and three blocks from the Foggy Bottom and DuPont Circle Metro rail stations.

Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. on April 4th. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end with a reception starting at about 4:30 p.m. On April 5th, sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m.
