The Strategic Compensation Conference 2001 was held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, in Alexandria, Virginia, on August 28-29, 2000, with a full day of workshops on August 30th. The Conference provided Federal managers and human resources practitioners with updates, forecasts, and practical information about the Federal compensation environment--pay and leave administration, performance management, position classification, and efforts to improve the compensation tools available to support agency missions.
