SELF-SERVICE BENEFITS SYSTEM

The Office of Personnel Management has developed a self-service, automated system that provides employees with immediate, electronic access to input changes to payroll and personnel options over which they have direct control without using forms, the mail system, or visiting their personnel office. Employees interact with the system at their convenience, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any touch-tone telephone or through Employee Express touch screen computer kiosks, or the World Wide Web.
