Contract Management

• Provides oversight of the contractor Quality Assurance Program.
  

• Provides oversight of the contractor Investigator Integrity Program.
  

• Audits contractor products to ensure that all appropriate procedures and practices have been observed and that the final product meets all appropriate standards.
  

• Verifies additional costs through spot checks (police report charges, transcripts, etc.) or case-by-case inspection (Department of Energy/Nuclear Regulatory Commission medical).
  

• Provides technical assistance to the contractor.
  

• Makes final FOI/PA decisions, prepares amendments to files, and oversees contractor FOI/PA activities.
  

• Provides oversight of National Personnel Records Center and other record repository activities.
  

• Reviews and evaluates background investigations conducted by other Federal agencies to assure the investigations meet applicable standards, as well as applicable laws, orders, regulations, and guidelines.
