If I lock myself out of e-QIP after too many attempts, how can I re-set my password if I am the applicant/employee trying to login to fill out or obtain my investigative form(s)?

You have the ability to re-set your password by clicking “Forgot Password” located at https://www.e-qip.opm.gov/eqip-applicant/showLogin.login and answering the Challenge Questions you created when registering. If you do not remember the answer to you challenge questions or your username, you will have to contact your sponsoring agency for assistance.

Note: You can only log into e-QIP when your sponsoring agency grants you access.
