The work involves long periods of standing and recurring stooping and bending such as is typical at land border ports-of-entry or airports-of-entry. The work can require frequent and recurring surveillance in which there is a considerable amount of walking, stooping, bending, and climbing. Periods when the individual is permitted to sit are not in normal offices, and the individual is not free to come and go as necessary. The employee may be required to remain in one location for many hours without relief. The work may also include frequent lifting of moderately heavy objects such as luggage or boxes in cargo containers.
