The percentage of members (18-75 years of age) who have Type 1 or Type diabetes and were screened for high cholesterol (Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol).

Why is Cholesterol Screening important to you?

Regular cholesterol screening for high levels of Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C), also known as "bad" cholesterol because high levels lead to serious health problems such as heart disease and stroke, allows you to take preventive steps to lower cholesterol and avoid further cardiovascular damage.
