Changing screen resolution for Windows 3.1/3.11

Note: Some systems may have a separate utility already installed to change your resolution. If yours does not, use the following instructions. You may have to download a video driver from your PC's manufacturer prior to beginning.

  • Step 1: Go to the MAIN program group (if not already open, double-click the icon).

  • Step 2: Double-click on the WINDOWS SETUP icon.
  • Step 3: Click the OPTIONS menu.

  • Step 4: Click the CHANGE SYSTEM SETTINGS... option.
  • Step 5: Click the DISPLAY box.
  • Step 6: Scroll Up/Down till you find the 800x600x256 driver that MATCHES YOUR VIDEO CARD. (Small Fonts suggested)

  • Step 7: Click the OK button.
  • Step 8: If asked whether to use the Current or New, choose Current.

  • Step 9: If asked to restart Windows, click YES.
