The Process

It's easy to work with TMA once your agency requirement has been identified. We will work closely with you to complete the following steps:

Step 1: Develop a Statement of Objectives (SOO)

Your TMA Project Manager will help you develop a Statement of Objectives (SOO) This is a PDF formatted file [53 KB] that clearly and concisely describes your needs and expectations. Typically a SOO includes:

Background: The overview of the project and a description of any circumstances that may affect the outcome of the project.
The environment where the services or products will be used.

Audience: The target audience for whom the products or services are intended.

Requirements:

  • Project objectives to be met and their linkage to overall agency strategic and/or performance goals.
  • Work or tasks to be performed.
Deliverables: Project outcomes or products to be produced and formats in which they should be delivered.

Specifications: Standards the products must meet (computer platform, software requirements, continuing education standards, etc.).

Time Frames: All critical project dates including estimated start date, critical interim dates, and desired completion date.

Administration: Your primary and alternate points of contact for the project.
