• Your share of the non-Postal premium will increase by 11.9% for Self Only or 12.0% for Self and Family under the High Option and will increase by 9.2% for Self Only or 9.2% for Self and Family under the Standard Option.

• We included self-referred chiropractic care to the list of excluded copayments and coinsurance from the annual out-of-pocket maximum.

• We cover multidisciplinary rehabilitation services to treat conditions, which in the judgment of a physician, are subject to significant improvement within 2 months per condition. The copayment per day for outpatient multidisciplinary rehabilitation is $10 for high option and $15 for standard option and there is no copayment for inpatient multidisciplinary rehabilitation services. The Federal Brochure has been silent on this benefit.

• We increased DME coverage to 80% when it is prescribed in conjunction with home health care that is in lieu of inpatient hospitalization.

• We increased coverage for diabetic supplies such as external insulin pumps, infusion devices, glucose monitors, and diabetic foot care appliances for both standard and high option plans to 80% coverage.

• We are changing how copayments are charged for certain contraceptive drugs and devices.

• We now provide certain non-emergency coverage up to $1200 per year for eligible dependents of subscribers who are full time, registered college students (at least 12 credit hours per semester) attending a recognized accredited institution outside the Kaiser Permanente service areas.
