As you are aware, we are gearing up for the fast approaching Open Season for the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program. We need YOUR help so that every employee will receive an Open Season Announcement that we've developed with OPM's approval. These Open Season Announcements take several forms -- hard copy brochures that include a mail-in request form for an Information Kit and application, PDF versions of the brochures, emails announcing Open Season, and paystub announcements. OPM strongly encourages the use of the hard-copy brochure announcements whereever possible, with the other forms of the announcement used for great reinforcements, but not as the sole means of communication.

Employees are NOT going to automatically receive an open season application and OPM is NOT going to be producing an "open season memo" like they do to announce FEHB Program open seasons. No one will automatically receive an Information Kit and application -- they have to specifically request one. That's why it is vitally important to get these Open Season Announcements into the hands of each and every employee.

We also have made a Program Educational Meeting video that highlights the details of the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program. We encourage you to use this with your employees in smaller offices who are not scheduled to get a live Program Educational Meeting during Open Season or for employees who cannot attend a meeting.

What I need from you is the following:

1) The number of hard copy Open Season Announcements you need so that each of your employees can receive one, the format(s) your agency prefers (e.g. hard copies, PDF, etc.) AND where you would like them to be shipped.

2) The number of Program Educational Meeting videos you will need AND where you would like them sent. If you would like them sent to other addresses - please provide the number of videos and the actual addresses they need to be shipped to.
