Office of Personnel Management Director Kay Coles James Announces U.S. Air Force Veteran Teresa Gilbert as Administrative Officer in the Office of Communications and Public Liaison

Washington, D.C. - Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Director Kay Coles James announced today the hiring of Teresa Gilbert to the position of Administrative Officer at OPM's Office of Communications and Public Liaison.

Gilbert, a United States Air Force Veteran, brings a number of professional accomplishments to her new position, which she has gained throughout her fifteen years of outstanding federal service. Her areas of expertise include personnel management, financial management and administrative management. She comes from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where she most recently served as a Management Analyst.

OPM Director Kay Coles James said "OPM honors the service of America's veterans and we are pleased to add another veteran to our communications team."

Gilbert has developed position descriptions, job analysis and long range staffing plans for USDA, and has been responsible for budgetary justification and formulation for multi-year and operational budget packages for National Animal Health Policy and Program staffs.
