OPM to Discuss New Operating Status Notifications and the 2011 Winter Weather Outlook

Washington, DC - Please join OPM Director John Berry and government representatives on Wednesday, December 15, at 9:00 a.m., for a press briefing that looks at the National Weather Service's long range forecast, provides a behind-the-scene look at how Director Berry plans to handle the winter ahead, and introduces a new set of operating status notifications.

What: Briefing on Federal Government Closing Procedures.

Who: OPM Director Berry, the National Weather Service and representatives from the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
