U.S. Office of Personnel Management Addressing and Resolving Poor Performance CD-ROM and Booklet

The Government Printing Office's (GPO) "Rider" System:

The booklet and CD-ROM are both available through the GPO's "Rider" system which allows agencies to add their orders to an initial order created by OPM. They will appear in future "Rider" announcements on a continuing basis as long as the demand exists.

Agencies must place their orders with their agency's internal GPO Contact, who is usually referred to as the Printing/Publications Officer (this job title may vary by agency).

The following information needs to be submitted to an agency's Printing/Publication Officer:

Under GPO's Rider System, the estimated cost of the booklet is $1.50, and the estimated cost of the CD-ROM is $4.00.

GPO's Superintendent of Documents:

GPO's Superintendent of Documents is selling the handbook through its bookstores. If agencies or private companies would like to order the handbook through GPO's Superintendent of Documents, you can order it from their document ordering web site or call 202-512-1800 and provide the following stock numbers: Booklet - 006-000-0-1460-7, and CD-ROM - 006-000-0-1455-5. These bookstores are offering the booket for $5.50 and the CD-ROM for $14.00.
