Domestic Violence Update

In a Presidential Memorandum to heads of executive departments and agencies dated April 18, 2012, the President directed OPM, in consultation with the Attorney General, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the Secretary of Labor, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and other interested heads of agencies, to develop Governmentwide guidance to address the effects of domestic violence on the Federal workforce.  Final guidance is scheduled to be released to Federal agencies by December 18, 2012.
