White House Chief of Staff Card and OPM Director James To Salute Winners of the Presidential Award for Management Excellence

Washington, D.C. - President George W. Bush's Chief of Staff, Andrew Card, and Office of Personnel Management Director Kay Coles James are scheduled to present the Presidential Award for Management Excellence to the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Science Foundation, two federal organizations that made outstanding use of contemporary management solutions. Three other organizations, the Social Security Administration, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation will be receiving an honorable mention of their use of management solutions.

OPM administers the Presidential Award for Management Excellence through the President's Quality Award Program.
