Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program: Opportunity for Enrollees of Health Plan of Nevada, Enrollment Code NM, to Change Enrollment

Health Plan of Nevada (enrollment code NM) recently notified us of a serious problem with their provider network. The plan had a significant reduction in its provider network and anticipates more substantial reductions.

We are authorizing enrollees who are affected by the network disruption to select a new health plan. The opportunity to change enrollment will begin immediately and continue through May 18, 2002. Agencies may apply the cutoff date liberally as necessary. The effective date of all enrollment changes will be the first day of the pay period following the one in which an enrollee makes the change.
