About the Wall  | How to Nominate

The Wall of Honor Memorial is maintained by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, in memory of Federal civil servants who were killed in the line of duty. To nominate a person for Wall of Honor recognition, please contact the Human Resources (HR) office for the agency of the person you wish to add to the list of honorees. The agency’s HR staff will work with you to confirm your nominee meets these criteria:

• was an employee of the agency; and
• died of injuries incurred in connection with such individual’s employment with the Federal Government suffered as a result of a criminal act, an act of terrorism, a natural disaster, or other circumstance as determined by the President.

Once the agency staff confirms that the individual meets the criteria, they will contact the Office of Personnel Management on behalf of the honoree.
