Courtney Rizzo

Special Assistant to the Chief Information Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer

Courtney Rizzo is the Special Assistant to the Chief Information Officer at the Office of Personnel Management under the Biden-Harris Administration. In this capacity, she advises CIO leadership on budget operations and supports internal and customer-facing IT modernization initiatives.

Courtney joins OPM after managing the budgets of key battleground states for the Biden-Harris coordinated campaign and serving on the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Prior to her political experience, she held senior-level finance and administrative roles in the nonprofit and small business sectors. She began her career as a stage manager, leading operations at a dozen opera and theater companies across the United States, and now serves on the Board of Directors for performing arts organizations.

Courtney graduated with high honors from Michigan State University and earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
