Applications for coverage under the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program were suspended December 19, 2022.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the FLTCIP administrator, Long Term Care Partners, LLC are conducting an Enrollee Decision Period for current FLTCIP enrollees from September 11 to November 9, 2023.

Long Term Care Partners, LLC, will send a 2023 Enrollee Decision Period package with personalized options to FLTCIP enrollees impacted by a premium rate increase effective January 1, 2024.  The decision period will provide enrollees the opportunity to review their current coverage and make decisions that allow them to accept or mitigate the impact of the premium increase.
