Federal Government Archived Operating Status in the Washington, DC, Area

the following message applies only to Wednesday, March 19, 2003

The federal goverment is OPEN. For those federal employees who work in the area which may be impacted by the law enforcement incident near constitution avenue, please refer to the website of your agency or department for additional information.

Human Resources offices in these buildings have the following options:

  1. Employees who choose not to report for work today may be granted a day of unscheduled leave.
  2. Employees who choose to report for work today, but who experience delays in doing so, may be granted excused absence for their delayed arrival.
