Law Enforcement Officer

Note:

LEOs covered by these tables whose pay rate for their grade and step is below the rate for the same grade and step on an applicable special rate table under 5 U.S.C. 5305 (or similar special rate under other legal authority) are entitled to the higher special rate. For example, in the case of LEOs at grade GS-1 or GS-2, beginning on the first day of the first applicable pay period beginning on or after 01/30/2022, the section 5305 special rate under table 001M may provide a rate that is higher than the corresponding locality rate.
