The first time you login to the e-QIP system after June 24, 2012, you will need to register. You register by clicking the "Register for Username and Password" button on the right-hand side of the screen. You will need to input your Social Security Number (SSN) (reqeust ID if you do not have a SSN), answers to your default Golden Questions and then you will create three Challenge Questions.
If you have already registered and do not remember your username or the answer to your Challenge Questions, you must contact your sponsoring agency.

To determine the current status of your security clearance, please contact the agency’s personnel security office that granted your clearance. If you are a contract employee, your company’s facility security officer may also be able to assist you.
