Margot Conrad
Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Director
Margot Conrad serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) under the Biden-Harris Administration.
Margot previously served as a Senior Advisor to the Director of OPM and Executive Director of the Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Council. In those roles, Margot advised the OPM Director on key workforce issues and oversaw the CHCO Council, working with human capital leaders from across the federal government on the development and implementation of human capital strategies and policies.
Prior to serving at OPM, Margot spent the 15 years at the Partnership for Public Service, a nonprofit organization focused on making the federal government more efficient and effective. She served in a variety of roles including Director for Government Affairs and Director for Federal Recruiting and Hiring Programs. Margot also spent time at the White House Office of Management and Budget on a detail during the Obama-Biden administration.
Margot is a graduate of Wellesley College. She also holds a master’s degree in Regional and Urban Planning Studies from the London School of Economics.
