Partha Teerdhala
Senior Advisor to the Director for Technology and Delivery, Office of the Director
Partha Teerdhala is the Senior Advisor to the Director for Technology and Delivery at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) under the Biden-Harris Administration. In this role, he advises the Director on OPM’s technology programs spanning cybersecurity, information technology (IT) modernization, cloud adoption and digital services.
Prior to working in the Biden-Harris Administration, Partha held several senior executive roles in the IT industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Contegix, a privately-held FedRamp cloud and DevOps infrastructure and services company, helping federal agencies and enterprises in their cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives. At Contegix, Partha led technology, product, engineering, technical operations and cybersecurity functions. Prior to Contegix, he held leadership roles at CenturyLink Cloud and Verizon Enterprise Solutions, focusing on strategy, development and delivery of cloud technologies, platforms, products and services.
Before Verizon, as a senior consultant, Partha helped the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) expand and modernize their online services. His key contributions at the IRS include leading and delivering the modernization of Where's My Refund, a mission-critical digital service used by tens of millions of taxpayers.
Partha graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with an MS in Management Science and from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
