I am trying to find information about having an international fiancée. My situation is that I am dating a girl from Thailand and I would like to file a fiancée Visa application. I know that this will raise concerns with my clearance. Is there anything I should do before hand to help mitigate any concerns and insure that if I am investigated again I have taken care of any documentation for this? Any information you can give would be gratefully appreciated.
OPM conducts the background investigations which may be requested by Federal agencies as the basis for a security determination. The adjudication of the investigation and the maintenance of the security clearance are the responsibility of the agency sponsoring the clearance.
