1. Within 90 days of completing the last of the 5 courses at a given level, email the list of the 5 courses with their start dates to validate completion within the three year period to the OPM LEAD Certificate Program Manager at LEAD@opm.gov .
2. Once OPM has verified that you have completed your required courses, you will have 90 days to complete a capstone paper (4-6 pages). You will email the paper to the LEAD Certificate Program Manager at LEAD@opm.gov.
3. Once you receive a "Pass" rating on your capstone paper, the LEAD Certificate Program Manager will email you the notification of the "Passing" rating as your official record for personnel. You will be notified about the date of the annual LEAD commencement ceremony in Washington DC where you will receive your certificate (signed by the OPM Director) with other LEAD graduates. If you cannot attend the ceremony, your LEAD certificate will be mailed to you.
