Carrier Letter 2014-10 lists the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) as one of the organizations whose product fulfills the comprehensive health plan accreditation requirement. Would a survey conducted using AAAHC’s Accreditation Handbook for FEHB Health Plans fulfill OPM’s requirement?

Yes, comprehensive health plan accreditation from AAAHC using either their Accreditation Handbook for Health Plans or using their Accreditation Handbook for FEHB Health Plans fulfills OPM’s requirement.
