There is no additional government contribution or subsidy for purchasing coverage under the FEHB Program. Information about subsidies for individuals who purchase coverage on an Exchange may be found at https://www.healthcare.gov/how-can-i-save-money-on-marketplace-coverage/. As a reminder, annuitants that drop their FEHB coverage to join the Health Insurance Marketplace will not receive an employer contribution toward coverage and will not be allowed to reenroll into the FEHB Program. You should consult your tax advisor for information on whether any premium tax credits may be available to you.
