“I have wanted to grow plants in space since my seventh grade agriculture teacher was invited to a symposium on the topic at Kennedy Space Center and brought back hours of video and tons of information.  I couldn’t imagine a neater job and still can’t.”

“I would encourage her to figure out what she wants to do and then stick to her goals and take any opportunity to learn. The government offers a fascinating diversity of different careers and is a place to do things that you can’t do anywhere else.”
