Emily Stanley
Special Advisor, Office of the Director
Emily Stanley serves as the Special Advisor to the Director at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) under the Biden-Harris Administration. She joined OPM in June 2023 as the Executive Assistant to the Director before transitioning to her current role in January 2024.
Prior to her tenure at OPM, Emily served at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as the Special Assistant to the Director and an External Affairs Specialist. Before her federal service, Emily's background was rooted in community organizing. Notably, she worked as a Field Organizer with the Biden-Harris Campaign and as a national leader for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) for Biden and the Young Democrats of America’s AAPI Caucus.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors by hiking and visiting National Parks.
