On August 22, 2014, Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a Director’s memorandum to Heads of Department and Executive agencies transmitting the Presidential Memorandum (PM) on Enhancing Workplace Flexibilities and Work-Life Programs, dated June 23, 2014. This memorandum provides preliminary guidance to agencies on notification to Federal employees, and on the review, amendment, and establishment of procedures, concerning the right of employees to request work schedule flexibilities.
