Strategic Framework
The Director of the Office of Personnel Management tasked the HR LOB with creating a Strategic Framework to enable the development of a single, integrated government‐wide human resources information technology (HRIT) environment over the next 10 years. The Framework supports the Chief Human Capital Officers Council’s Future State Vision for HRIT, which seeks to provide a common user experience across the federal employee lifecycle enabled by interoperable HR systems and data.
Successful implementation of the Framework is expected to result in significant benefits, including improved human capital impact, enhanced HRIT sustainability, and increased cost savings across the Federal Government.
