NEWS: OPM’s USA Performance® Named as Top 40 Finalist at the Sixth Annual Igniting Innovation 2019 Conference and Awards

May 21, 2019 - The U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s USA Performance was named as a Top 40 finalist for the Igniting Innovation Awards - which recognize innovations that benefit services to citizens and government operations -- by the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), a public-private partnership for the government IT community.

USA Performance enables agencies to automate their performance appraisal process throughout the entire performance rating cycle, moving Federal employees from a paper process to an online, digitized process. Agencies can develop performance plans, track and monitor employees’ performance, provide feedback and ratings, and electronically sign performance plans as agency appraisal programs require. By streamlining the process, USA Performance allows agencies to focus on results and for performance management to happen in real time.

This year’s Top 40 finalists originated from 207 nominations - a record setting year for innovations by federal, state and local government and industry from across the country.  A panel of government and industry executives reviewed all the nominations in early 2019. The award winners will be selected by conference attendees following a morning exhibition and lightning talks. Winners receive national level recognition for their innovation, their organization, and the government clients they serve.
