Update your profile and contact information
Learn how to update your annuitant profile and contact information, including phone number and email address. You can also set your communication preferences to receive correspondence from OPM via email or mail.
How to update your profile information

Sign in to your online account

Click Profile in the menu

Click the Communication tab and then click Change next to the section of information you want to update
On this page, you can update your phone number, email address, mailing address, and communication preferences.
Please allow 1 to 2 days for all of our systems to reflect the changes before contacting us.
Make sure you save your changes before leaving the page.

You should only fax us documents if an official OPM form or one of our Customer Service Specialists asks you to (the fax number will be provided on the form, or the Customer Service Specialist will provide you one.) Otherwise, you should mail us your documents.
