Doing Business with OPM

The Doing Business with OPM site is designed to help the public, small business, small disadvantaged business (SDB), services disabled veteran owned business (SDVOB), women-owned business (WOSB), historically underutilized business (HUBZone), 8(a) certified small disadvantaged business, and other Federal agencies understand how to find contracting opportunities, register to do business with OPM, and to connect with small businesses, among other things.

  • Contracting Opportunities

The Office of Procurement Operations (OPO) advances the strategic objectives of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) while achieving best value through timely, high quality, innovative acquisitions of goods and services.

Preparing to do business with OPM is as easy as one, two, three! Get more information on how to register for government contracting.

    Acquisition Forecast

For current business opportunities with OPM, please visit the Acquisition Gateway.

Additional, government-wide opportunities including pre-solicitation notices, solicitation notices, award notices, and sole source notices can be found on SAM.gov

For more information on how OPM engages with the vendor community, please see our Vendor Communication Plan.

  • Small Business Program

OPM's Small Business Program is part of the federal government's overall small business program. Like the acquisition process, it is governed by Public Laws translated into Government-wide regulations, and participation as a small business in the acquisition process involves registration in or use of various Government-wide databases. Most of these laws, regulations and databases can be accessed from one website, Acquisition Central.
