Frequently Asked Questions Retirement

I am 63 and retired from the army reserves with 12 of my 20 years being on active duty. I am currently working for usps. Can I use the 12 years active mil service towards my usps fers retirement WITHOUT adversely effecting my mil retirement? If yes, where can I find the info IN PLAIN LANGUAGE (not just told to see title 10 chptr 1223)?

If you are receiving a military retirement you cannot use any of that service towards your civilian retirement. Military service can't be used concurrently.
