Human Capital Planning

OPM consultants can work with leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize workforce initiatives that should be implemented over the next four years. This includes gathering qualitative data from leaders and employees through interviews and focus groups to better understand workforce challenges and future priorities.

OPM will then design and facilitate a strategic human capital planning session to discuss current workforce strengths, challenges, and overarching themes identified from the interviews and focus groups. OPM consultants will work with session participants to create a vision for what the workforce should look like in the future, identify strategic human capital goals that support the vision, and determine workforce strategies that can be implemented over the next four years to support those goals.

OPM will also align current workforce initiatives to the newly established strategic human capital goals. Based on outcomes from the session and discussions with stakeholders, consultants will draft a strategic human capital plan.
