The Tentative Job Offer and Acceptance element

Hiring Process Analysis Tool

Step 11

The Tentative Job Offer and Acceptance element is performed by the Human Resources Office and the Security Office. This element takes three days to complete. The period allows HR to audit the certificate for compliance with the laws and regulations and extend a tentative job offer to the selectee.

HR will then solicit, review and verify information from the selectee such as a DD-214, college transcripts, OF-306, and a Declaration for Federal Employment if the documents were not provided with the initial application. If any derogatory information is revealed on the OF 306, send documents to Security Office for review.

Finally HR will notify the remaining eligibles that a selection was made.
