Workload Analysis
OPM can work with agency stakeholders to confirm priorities and mission requirements in the near- and long-term, in addition to corresponding functions, business processes, and work activities. Using existing agency data, work logs, and/or survey data, OPM will determine a recommended number of positions needed to achieve strategic objectives.
Depending on the depth of the analysis, OPM may be able to provide details including the placement of additional full-time employees (FTE) in the organization structure, types of positions required, and reallocation of resources between teams. OPM will also provide supporting recommendations to improve resource and workload management efficiency, based on the information collected during the study, which may include position management, performance management, and process improvement strategies
