OPM’s HR Solutions USA Performance Team won a 2014 Bold Award and was the People's Choice Award winner at the Nextgov Prime conference on September 8. Nextgov's annual Bold Awards culled 10 winners from nearly 100 nominations, based on ambition, innovative prowess, and outcomes. The People’s Choice Award was presented to the finalist receiving the most votes via Nextgov’s online poll.  The Performance Management team won for developing the first software-as-a-service, government-wide performance management system. USA Performance automates the performance management process, transforming the current paper-based system that requires agencies to scan millions of pages of performance plans into electronic personnel files. OPM estimates USAP can potentially save agencies millions of dollars by streamlining and automating the traditional paper process.
