Now Available: OPM Open Enrollment Leadership Assessments

July 25, 2013

Do you know what your supervisor, peers, and direct reports perceive to be your strengths and challenge areas as a leader in your current position? Have you ever wondered about your potential to succeed at the leadership level immediately above you? Do you know how your personality relates to your ability to succeed as a leader in the Federal Government?

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has developed a suite of leadership assessments to help current and aspiring leaders in the Federal Government address these questions. OPM’s leadership assessments are designed to increase self-awareness by providing feedback to participants on where they currently stand in relation to the knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics essential to leadership success in the Federal Government.

OPM is pleased to announce that these assessments, which were previously only available for administration to agencies on a group basis, are now available to individual employees for a small fee. Specifically, administration of the OPM Leadership 360™, the OPM Leadership Potential Assessment, and the OPM Leadership Profiler will now be offered on a periodic basis to individuals for purchase via credit card. This new open enrollment approach will now allow anyone who is interested in their individual development to complete a single assessment or a combination of these three assessments.

The next open enrollment session will begin August 27th. If you are interested in completing one of these assessments, please contact leadership_assessment@opm.gov.
